This is a dangerous mindset.

Think in levels.

Everything has a base. For years, people have been creating. Whether it’s software, art, music, food, cars, and more, new inventions are not a new concept. If you can teach yourself to think of creativity in levels, steps, rather than a once and done project, then you can learn to start with what’s made and step on that idea to get to the next level. The creative world is all about taking what’s made and improving it.

Approach life with a teachable spirit. If you have the mindset of a life-long learner, you will go far. Everything you need to know for your creative venture is already out there. Go discover it. Be willing to approach every situation and conversation you have ready to ask questions and grow.

Know and Push

Once you understand where you are and where you want to be, it’s time to push. Push past what’s been done. Think outside the box. Take all that knowledge and experience you’ve collected and launch something new. Whether it’s in your business or personal life, don’t settle for where you are. Dream big.
