We do a lot of work behind the scenes when we transform our clients incredible stories into creative pixels!
Some key elements for success behind the scenes at Helm includes smooth communication between the team and the client to ensure that everyone is on the same page, the handling of talent release forms, and keeping the energy high and positive on filming days!
Setting up equipment is another key element of a successful day setting up behind the scenes! We need to ensure that we set up quickly and efficiently, and that everything is exactly where it needs to be and is working as it should. We set up lights, audio equipment, computers, cameras, power ... alll these things work together to help us get the content we need to tell our client's stories!
Notes are another major part of our real time editing- we take notes to help our editors to save time during the edit process, catch funny blooper moments for clients, taking note of some INCREDIBLE lines said by talent, and helping create real-time reusable content for our clients!
We love what we do, and none of what we do would be possible without our clients or our team. We love creating memories while our clients give us the creative freedom to tell their stories! There is NEVER a dull moment at Helm Creative Studio and we wouldn't trade in the memories, the team days, the laughs during filming days, hanging out with our clients, or the team road trips for the world!

These are just a few of the ways Helm Creative Studio makes our project days easier! Here are a few take-aways for your team to consider...
1. Think through how your team can have set tasks for each person so everyone can run in their own lane and absolutely OWN what they're doing! This way, nobody is standing around and everyone can find ways to contribute.
2. Make sure your communication is clear with your team and everyone understands what is needed from them. Be sure to communicate with your client too so they aways know what is going on and are in the loop with their projects.
3. Allocate enough time for set-up so that way everything can be done in a timely fashion. Utilize trial and error until you find the perfect flow of things! (Just be mindful it's better to be ahead of schedule than behind)
4. Go over upcoming projects ahead of time with your team, client, and talent so everyone is in the know! This way, ideas are clear, creativity can flow, and nothing is left out!
